We took the ferry to Vashon Island, stayed overnight at AYH Ranch Hostel (recommended!), slept in a tipi, and saw a herd of exercise machines.

Met up with Margaret F at Magnuson Park for an afternoon of play and picture-taking.

The old classic "throw rocks into water" proved its appeal remains intact even for these newfangled kids.

This year's was considerably happier in mood than years past!

Zeb and I did a fun weekend project; we replaced my car stereo. The best part was making the wiring harness, complete with a multimeter and crimping tools. But taking the dash apart was pretty cool too.

And I'm trying out Google's photo web service, Picassa. So far, uploads are quite fast, and there is a iPhoto exporter plugin that's compatible with iPhoto 7. I'm also looking forward to having an iPhone to use this on.
