It is America's Birthday

Our son made this song up while lying in bed on July 4 when he was 5. We listened and recorded it over the baby monitor. He'd never sang it before or since, but he does like to hear the recording. One of our friends suggested we share it for the 4th...so here it is!

Oh, the video is some random thing I found on the intertubes. It's from sUPERED. http://blip.tv/file/931317/ Isn't Creative Commons-remix licensing a beautiful thing? Uh, yeah. And thanks, sUPERED!

"sUPEREDS 81st weekly internet video for may 24 2008 called " the funny american does a slow flag dance" sUPERED becomes one with the usa flag then does a dance of joy enjoy smile"

That song is too crazy!

So I played Zeb "Radio Nowhere" from Bruce Springsteen's new album while we were driving to school Friday. I asked him what he thought.

"This song is too crazy. It makes me want to kick the windshield out and bust down the seats and destroy the whole car."

So I put on "Big Block" by Jeff Beck -- Zeb thought that was much better.
