It is America's Birthday

Our son made this song up while lying in bed on July 4 when he was 5. We listened and recorded it over the baby monitor. He'd never sang it before or since, but he does like to hear the recording. One of our friends suggested we share it for the 4th...so here it is!

Oh, the video is some random thing I found on the intertubes. It's from sUPERED. http://blip.tv/file/931317/ Isn't Creative Commons-remix licensing a beautiful thing? Uh, yeah. And thanks, sUPERED!

"sUPEREDS 81st weekly internet video for may 24 2008 called " the funny american does a slow flag dance" sUPERED becomes one with the usa flag then does a dance of joy enjoy smile"

We asked Isaac what kind of birthday party he wanted to have this year.

He said "Purplicious!"

We obliged.

There are a few light-activated sound installations here. The ones on the stairs are lots of fun, too!

Flying Zebbie

Want to see Zeb rocket 25 feet up into the air?

(You'll need to have QuickTime installed on your computer - if you get a "missing plugin" message or see a blank box in the middle of the page, that's why.)

Open the boxes!

We ended up with a bunch of Amazon packages all at once. Saturday morning, the boys decided it was time to open them. They informed me of their opinion with great enthusiasm.
