Well, the copyright police caught up with me. I thought it was fair use to play "Purple Haze" in the background of this video of a purple birthday party. But, someone claiming to represent the copyright holder complained, so YouTube pulled the video.
Copyright law is very badly broken.
I really don't think the next Jimi is going to not create his great music because somebody might use it in a home movie decdes after they're dead.
